Valve Shop Supervisor

Trillium is Now Hiring a Valve Shop Supervisor in Maumee!

This is a first shift position working Monday to Friday. The main objective of the Valve Shop Supervisor is to supervise and coordinate all activities of the railcar cleaning department and Valve Shop. This is a full-time salaried position starting at $75,000. A full benefits package will be included as well. 

Duties Include:
-Administers and ensures quality and safety procedures are being followed.
-Monitors and manages shop efficiency in line with company metrics.
-Ensures the proper functioning and maintenance of department equipment and utilizes equipment as designed and intended.
-Ensures odiferous vapors do not disrupt other operating departments or of adjacent properties.
-Maintains current knowledge of government, industry, customer, and company policy, procedures, and work instructions.
-VOC emission reporting / tracking for cleaning activities.
-Writes supplemental work sheets to charge the customer appropriately for un-estimated work.
-Performs in-process inspection on all work performed prior to cars leaving the department to ensure workmanship meets government, industry, customer, and company quality requirements.
-Manages, mentors, coaches, and trains team members on effective, safe, and quality based work requirements.

Qualifications Include:
-High School diploma or GED
-A minimum of 5-years of rail car Cleaning and Valve experience or similar heavy industrial experience
-Demonstrated past success in supervisory / management position.
-Organization, time management, leadership, and verbal / written communication skills are essential.
